F.A.Q.

Q: Do I have to stay the entire time?

A: Nope! Just let us know when you are planning on being there, even if it is to just drop in for the afternoon to cool off in the pool or play some games with us (Click here for the registration link). Prices are dependent on how long you stay and how much you want to eat. You are also welcome to come and go from camp property as you wish.

Q: I haven't been out to camp in forever. What are the rules?

A: Use common courtesy for most things. You are allowed to bring alcohol, but no glass in the pool area and make sure that you clean up your empty containers as you go. Do not flick cigarette butts on to the ground or into the pool. Do not smoke in the cabins or other buildings. Do not wander through the Outback or across the fence line. If you rearrange things at camp, make sure you put them back before you leave. Be prepared to take conversations about touchy subjects elsewhere.

There is no camp staff to clean up after us; please pick up after yourself and make sure camp looks as good as when you arrived. Please remember to take your food & drink items with you.

Q: Can I bring my family?

A: Of course, we'd love to see your family! Remember that there will be no life guards or staff on hand, so you are responsible for your kiddos, if they come with you. If you, as the adult, are not present to supervise your children in the pool, they will need to get out of the water until you return. If you do bring children under 18, we have a "cabin curfew" of 10pm to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves. Keep in mind that some alumni take this weekend as a break from parenting, so please keep an eye on your children at all times. Kid-free alumni, please keep in mind that some alumni choose to bring their kids to enjoy the alumni reunion as a family and have patience with littles! ;)

Q: Will there be a service project done that weekend?

A: No, there is no intention of a service project to be completed this weekend. This weekend is intended for fun and fellowship. Feel free to look around, though, and if you have ideas, email us or the board!

Q: Will there be Mass that weekend?

A: Yes, we will have Mass, up at the Chapel of the Transfiguration, Attendance is optional.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: Beds are provided, but you will need to bring linens (twin XL sheets), pillows, and towels. Anything else you want to be comfortable for as long as you plan to stay - coolers and ice, camp chairs, hammocks, indoor or outdoor games, pool floats or games... (Some of the organizers are planning on bringing personal hammocks, pop-up canopies, lounge chairs, etc, just for example.) Bug spray and sunscreen are a must! You should also bring a swimsuit and probably comfortable clothes to change in to. You should also bring your own drinks, including water, and snacks. You do not have to bring enough to share, but are welcome to!

Q: What can't I bring with me?

A: Use common sense. No fireworks, no guns for pleasure shooting or hunting, no ATVs or golf carts, or anything that you would be heartbroken if it got broken or lost. You probably also don't need to bring a mini-fridge, but if that will make you more comfortable during the weekend, whatever floats your boat. Pets are not allowed at camp.
